Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book?
Six to eight weeks before departure is ideal — especially for multi-dose courses like Hepatitis B and Rabies. Travelling sooner? Call us on 01372 466116 and we’ll do our best to help.

Do I need a GP referral?
No referral needed. Book directly online or by phone. Bring any existing vaccination records (paper or digital) if you have them.

Can I get all my vaccines in one visit?
Single-dose vaccines — including Typhoid, Hepatitis A, DTP and Meningitis ACWY — can usually be given at your first appointment. Multi-dose courses like Hepatitis B and Rabies require follow-up visits.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Your travel itinerary and any previous vaccination records. Please attend feeling well — if you have a fever on the day, some vaccinations may need to be rescheduled.

Do you offer travel health advice for children?
Yes — we provide travel health advice for the whole family, including children under 16. Let us know when booking if your party includes young travellers.

Which areas do you serve?
We’re based in Claygate and serve patients from Esher, Cobham, Oxshott, Weybridge, Leatherhead and the wider Surrey area.
